HELP
Please someone, i have just purchased Starview 6 and installed file carling 1.101, followed installing instructions to the letter and yet channels still scrambled, any suggestions.

Are you in a full Nagra 3 area? Are u in the UK? Have you got your box connected to the router? did you follow the above to the letter?
Ohhh
how stupid am i ?. i didnt realise i had to have it connected to the router, I think i am in full Nagra area since all previous boxes now dont work and i'm in the UK

check list
1. cable is connected
2. lan (broadband) is connected
3. you presed 8989 on accessory and made sure everything is on/autoupdate.ect..
4. Menu - Option -networks - net application - Ustream
5. menu - options - osd setup - region, england
6. menu - options - network - ip setup, auto (ip address should be seen)

Mmmm
all above checked except no ip adress shown, its set to auto but just zero'd. stupid question but does computer still also need to be connected to router as i only have one port so have unplugged.

if you only have 1 port you can "either" connect computer or statview both dont need to be connected for one to work
is it a router or modem you are using?
just gone through a few other posts there, and it looks like the server may be down at the moment, so dont mess with the settings ect..ect...
