new here, need help with burning an iso file

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me figure out what I am doing wrong. I have just ruined 5 duel layer disks so far. I have burned with ImgBurn and CloneCD, and can't get anything more than play dvd when I put the disk in my xbox 360. I have followed directions step by step on how to change the layerbreak to 1913760, change the burn speed to 2.4X........ The only problem I can't understand is why when I put the disk in my computer after it failed to work in my xbox, there are only small files, no sound files, and there is no sight of the .iso file or anything larger than a few meg. If anyone can help me get my problems fixed, I would really appreciate it! thanks

I have actually used that as a guideline, which is how I found out about this site, I am using memorex (I know they aren't verbatim) dvd+r dl disks. I am using imgburn 2.5.2.0, I used the files from one folder together, changed the burn speed to 2.4 X, changed the layerbreak to 1913760... I don't know what else I can change or do. Please help!
and yes my xbox is modded lol

my only problem with doing that is I don't want to waist them before I figure out what is going wrong. When I got this xbox it came with 112 games and they are all on memorex disks. Im just hoping to find out why on an 8.5GB disk, I am only putting a few mg on it.

i use clone cd and works fine you should try changing the media however a game is always at leat 7gb and dont burn the iso burn the .dvd file that comes with it. dont see how its only couple of meg. where r u getting the file from?

I have actually used clone cd with the same result. The game when extracted has two files, the .dvd and the .iso, the dvd file is 4 kb and the iso file is 7.29 gb. When I try to burn I use the dvd file (with imgburn when you try to use the iso file it tells you that you are wrong and it uses the dvd file anyway) and I downloaded it from torrentleech.org.

it sounds like false files one of the best places to d/l from is www.gamestorrents.com try there with those files....

always burn with the .dvd file as this sets the layer break automatically and make sure iso is in same folder or on desktop etc. Use clone cd and if still no luck try changimg media.

I am trying that site now, but one question, the file is in spanish, is the game in spanish to?

the site is in spanish but most games arent if they are in spanish only it'll say spanish instead of multi5 or multi6 ect....
it is a really good site for torrent downloads....

still waiting to try it, I will still let you know when I try it. 2 1/2 days to download a 6.7gb file, most times only 1 seed.

Why not just run your ISO through ABGX to be sure it's correct AND to make a proper .dvd file?

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Setup ABGX properly, run the iso through it and burn. I've used Memorex discs for 3 years with no problems. Use Imgburn and burn at 2.4

if the abgx doesn't work id try looking for a firmware update for your burner that seems to be the last option....what burner do you have?

runnning abgx I get a few yellow sections, video partition does not match known data (could be corrupt or a new wave not seen before)
stealth status is uncertain
verification failed
there is no verified rip of Xex CRC 09A238E2 in the online database auto fix failed, stealth is still uncertain
everything else is green, anyone know what's up?
I don't care if it's stealth, I can't go online with my 360, I just want it to work

I am using the burner that came in my dell inspiron 1525, I tried to get updated firmware but doesn't seem to be any new one available, but I also used the 1 month old burner that says duel core in my parents computer and I got the same result, waisted disk.

are you sure there dual layer burners? also did you set the disk speed the same as the burner speed?
edit: when you put the game into your p.c does it come up with 3 folders?

audio ts
video ts
just outta curiocity if so then it would appear your burning them correctly....mine are like that also try running the disk through windows media player and see what happens....

Yes 3 files show up on the disk, there is a total of 85.9 mb, the audio file is empty and when I play it in windows media player it says "to play this disk put it in an xbox 360 consol"

Have you actually tried putting the game into an Xbox 360 console? Just to make sure.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

i know the game IS fine if the game is burned correctly it'l come up with that message which means its all good....do you kow if you have the latest iextreme firmware installed on the xbox i know that most older versions won't play the newer games.....
