just outta curiocity if so then it would appear your burning them correctly....mine are like that also try running the disk through windows media player and see what happens....
I actually had my computer into a computer shop and said I wanted a duel layer burner, he said most are duel's now, and the one in my parents computer said it was a duel core burner. Yes 3 files show up on the disk, there is a total of 85.9 mb, the audio file is empty and when I play it in windows media player it says "to play this disk put it in an xbox 360 consol"

and I set the burn speed to 2.4X
Have you actually tried putting the game into an Xbox 360 console? Just to make sure.
yes when I put it in it says play dvd

I did just do an update on the xbox360, not sure if it's that correct one or not, but I still can't see it being the xbox itself, when I put the disk into my computer it doesn't even have a gig worth of stuff on it

This has got to be a joke? Try hooked on phonics, they may be able to shed some light on it for you. Or maybe the guy at geek squad.

right from all intel i can gather the only option i can think is your xbox isnt flashed....or at least not upto date if it is outdated then most newer games will not work try an older game if that dont work check your flash or go ask the guy who flashed it for you.....

that seems to be all your options
and yes it would seem your disks are perfect....

This is false. You don't need to put your original firmware back on. Just reflash with the most current.
