TDK DVD+R??

i bnought two 15 packs of TDK DVD+R and have gone through 6 discs. i wanted to make a copy of a copy of the 6 discs but it keeps having read errors. Does anyone know if its these discs or they way i backed them up in the first place. i used decrypter and dvd shrink, and from what ive read nero should just burn the copies like you would any cd right?

Use DVD Info Pro (free) to ID the manufacturer on one of the blanks. TDK buys from different manufacturers so it's hard to say what you've got.

ok, well im going to go buy a burner right now ...the pioneer 107 and use that program to see the manufacturer. what are the best discs to get after i finish off these tdk's?

All TDK discs are not made equal. Their "Armour Plated" DVD-R's and the ones made in Japan are very good. But the rest of them are unpredictable. I've heard they are switching to CMC as their supplier - and CMC is one of the worst there is.

If you're sticking with the +R format, try Taiyo Yuden or Ricoh (Maxell +R discs are usually made by Ricoh).

In the -R format, Taiyo Yuden or Maxell (Maxell makes their own discs in Japan for the -R format).
