Please help me. giant xbox 360 screw up

I decided I would try and mod my Ben-Q diskdrive by using Jungleflasher. I found a youtube video that prompted me to open the diskdrive while the xbox was connected to the pc, and hold it open for a bit. However it turns out i could not open my disk drive. i originally had a sata cable going from my xbox processor to the pc processor, before shortly switching it over to the xbox dvd drive. Now i am stuck with a useless dvd drive. It wont open it isnt getting any power. I manually opened it with a push pin and saw that no power was going through it at all. it will not recgonize disks. Everything worked fine before this. please help?

How exactly are you hooking your xbox 360 up to your PC? What works for me is to open the xbox 360 an only unplugging the sata connection (leaving the power connection plugged in at all times), then removing the sata connection from my PC DVD-ROM to the now open xbox 360 sata port. Turn on 360, turn on PC (should see the xbox dvd in BIOS boot-up screens (POST)). Start up JF and under the MKFlash tab there is a button for benQ Unlock, which will put your benQ into "vendor mode". Those vague youtube videos never work for me. They usually always skip important steps or are too old.

you should use the jungleflasher tutorial as it is far more detailed and very informative.
