srry for this but i cant find it anywhere without havening to sign up and im signd up here but cant find it here atall nabilodarkstar2 for dm500s is there a link on here plz and a guide to setting it all up plz then im sure this thread can be delted thanks anyone

Heya thanks ive now got dreamup and nabilo... im reading that thread that u pointed me to jack.Some good info,, it says however not to ask for erase flash but what happens if i have an image allready on my dm i think i should erase first image whats your guy opinion ?
Also if i may ask sir's, whats the story with nabilo going to winrar should i extract and to where?

steve i got a couple of dreamboxes and erased their image and flashed with darkstar a couple of months ago and can say i have had no problems,sorry i cant answer part 2

Fintanni just to keep you in the loop as you seem so down when i done the kryptview maintanance post i thought i would let you know there is a new Starview 7 coming out today i dont want you to feel left out
Also people fintanni does his own private Sky C/S so i would say he would only be to delighted to let people share on his as he is feeling a bit low not been in the loop so now when his server is off he will be able to let all his people on his server know its down you can pm him if you want to know how to join his c/s just click on his name on the left there is a small tab there click that and you can send him a message from there now mate hope ya dont feel left out anymore
And i will i promise i will keep you up to date on all things that is happing in the cable section dont worry i will find your in your dreambox or what ever section you are in and keep you updated now on a daily basis or even sooner

every1 thanks for your help jack, fint, and e45 i maybe up for that but not at this stage im just looking for fta ,guys my neigbours have a satalite dish put up recently and it seems theres is a quad and only 2 wires are been used so im sure they'll let me use one of there spare ones, if i was to insert my sat cable and run it to my dm will that work just like i had my own up ,will it affect there feed and vice versa or is that okay to do?

guys im not sure if there dish is pointing at astra but lets assume it is ive put my cable into quad number 4 number 3 is empty and 1 and 2 are used so on dm500s nabilodarkstar2 menu its asking please choose ur discqC-config and 3 options NodiscqC or simple or complex which one should i use

anyway i went ahead and scanned no diseqC and it says all transponders have been scanned and no lock could be found ... what should i do now ,thanks

srry for the bombardment of query's but i knwo you guy's are very helpful. ive been useing satfind option now and notings happening i can see some are been tickd with the green tick but most are ending up red x , how long should this scan last

steve you are getting what youre neighbour is getting (im guessing) just the free to air can you ask them if they are subscribed to sly cause if they are you should be getting exactly the same,when you go into menu try automatic channel scan see what you get.
and no there wont be a conflict with youre neighbours viewing unless you snip their cable

heya jack i have deleted all the transponders for astra/eurobird 28.2e how can i get those back?Before i deleted them i done what you said and have no ppv channels just the fta altho sky channels come up but they have "no data avail for this service".so i dont think that will work out i will ask the neigbours later about their package.P.S Thanks for the snips advise i'll keep that in my info book from now on :) really thats gas thanks again

steve the 2 wires they have are for sly+ you will only receive fta (no sports/movies/rte/tg4/tv3 etc.)you will receive bbcs/itv/sly news/utv thats about it,you cant share with youre neighbour unless he gets a dreambox (all in a newbies guide)maybe this is something ye could discuss and split the bill 50/50 anyway to get youre fta chans back,go to setup then service searching then sat find then scan on 28.2 should take about 3 minutes to scan

you are mistaken to believe that you can get all your neighbours channels with a dreambox. you will only receive free to air channels. you need to have a subscription to get the other channels.

Heya fint and jack thanks again heres where im at.Im reading through the newbies guide again and am at this stage
"now you have to install cccam in you box ,so you press the yellow button on your remote ,and press the yellow button again to enter nabilosat addons download manager , press ok on nabilo image cams , now scroll down the page untill you see cccam 2.1.3" But i cant get past it heres the error mssg Error downloading

im not useing a router im useing my computer to connect the enternet cable from the dm and is the only reason i think it may be acting this way whats your guys opinion please.

Can I just let you know that having 2 boxes in different houses connected to the one dish is a very dodgy thing to do. Basically by doing it you are connecting both of the houses electrical circuits to the one item (in a roundabout way), now it may be a very slim chance of something serious happening, but if it does your home insurance (and your neighbour's insurance) will be void.
Just something to bear in mind, a lightning strike could have serious consequences!!
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??
