Loading from internal is faster at making backups and loading time, but external is great for space :)

I just purchased my ps3break (haven't received it yet) and just formated a 500gb ext hdd to fat32. I have a few game images.
Where do I put the games on my external hdd? Do i need to create a specific directory structure?

Im curious to know the answer to this also. Are the extracted game images just like an iso or something?

Well they're not really ISOs.
Eyepet for example extracts to...
ps3_game
ps3_update
ps3_disc.sfb

is it include the shipping?
It is freeshipping!
It f**king better be for $50...that kind of money can buy a pair of Arduinos! I'm amazed how much people will spend to skip a few steps.

when you are in backup manager,,and if you have an external harddrive plugged in,,it will backup the game to the external drive,,if you dont have it plugged in,,it will backup the game to the internal drive,,there are some games that will not work on the external because the files are bigger then 4gig,,there is a compatiblty list out now that tells which harddrive the games work,,good time to read it,,heres the link,,https://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?key=tqjzdwQGOhsHl_KH0KiEC3w,,its updated daily,,

I found the answer...
Create a folder named gamez and then inside that put your game folder.
so for
Eyepet for example you would just dump ...
ps3_game
ps3_update
ps3_disc.sfb
to exthdd:\gamez\eyepet
