Hi i have set up my starview box with the lan connection however i am still getting the scramble message on all of the pay channels it would would be a great help if someone was able to tell me where i was going wrong.

I currently have CARLING 1.01 on the box is this the right systemt to be using?

Have a look at the tutorial on the bottom of my signiture and read it and follow it and you be sorted

yes i had it connected but still no change. on the information bar however it has not connected on it does this mean anythin?

yep means its not connected to the server i suggest you look at the tutorial at the bottom of my post and take it one step at a time

its down to your set up, if your router is not connected and you havent selected Ustream

everythin is connected i have rebooted both the box and router after connecting them but i am still not getting any connection to the server

change the cable from your router to your box and see will that solve your problem

thanks for your help and advice but i am still not getting any connection on the box. iv followed each step and swiched the wires over but there is still no change. my box doesnt seem to reboot after completing a scan it just goes back to the channel list could this have anythin to do with it?

are you sure you have a live cable feed ?? do you pay for a sub to your provider or split broadband feed ?/

Hi, i have just recieved my sv7 today inserted usb flashdrive to usb slot with carling 1.02.ups file loaded on it, when i go to utility then usb, scroll down to carling file press ok the box freezes and i have to switch off and on again to get it back on.

If any ideas why, the help would be much welcomed.

what do you mean turn the broadband feed off? how would i get the box to connect then

just have the feed going to the box and no pc on it and try it with no other splitters on your cable you are using a router im presuming

even have a bash with the modem and see will it connect

need a little bit of advise my pic on my tv isnt very good ive got a gold tip scart lead from my sv6 box to tv its a good one as well will it make a diffrents to the pic if i get a scart converter to convert from a scart to a hdmi cable and put that in to my tv
