I tried the new file its the same, which SymbolRate should i use for Birmingham 6952 or 6887 or 6875, thats the only other thing i can think of, i have even tried a straight through network cable and a crossover network cable and they both still assign a ip address to the box

i have tried all 3 now still nothing its saying not connected on the bottom bar and scramble on screen
some of the basic channels work and the EPG is showing all films that are on
when i press the red button the sub titles work on all channels!
but no picture or sound

have you connected the box to your router then to yer modem? Did you select USTREAM when setting this up?

right iv connected the box direct to my modem but it still isnt conncecting to the server. when i press fn and select network file managment i get the message connection error... 8000 have you ever come across this problem?

yes when i press fn button and network file manager it comes up with network error... 8000, and i have also connected the box to the router which is already connected to the modem and i have selected USTREAM the router has even given the box its own ip address &the subnet mask and gateway and DNS are also correct in the box
e45 that might be the best suggestion for me to get krypview i only got the sv6 cause i had sv2 and sv3 and sv4 and i was use to the functions but the sv 6 functions have change completely so it must be time 5 change

the only other thing i can think of is the home stream setup server box in networks menu has nothing in it perhaps someone with a sv6 thats working can look to see if there is a server ip address in theirs
