He means more and more are breaking and RRODing. The fact that no more are being made means the number of JTAGed and JTAGable consoles is decreasing. And I second that jpizzle. Long live Jasper JTAGs.

mine arent dying....perks of having a nice stockpile of jtags/ables in my room. that and he also meant nothing is being created to use with jtags.

took a little longer than i anticipated, but added some extras to it:
heres your tutorial for installing FSD2 alpha
if you run into any issues, just join EMS's IRC channel and myself of someone will be able to help you out. i know i will be around most of the day excluding from around 10:15-noonish est today)

Apparently all the security holes have been filled, unless they are working on something with the new slimline. I am sure we won't see anything on that since the firmware for it hasn't even been released. (Rumor is Nov.)

I was hoping it was them RROD'ing and not a new copyright technique for new games that doesn't work with JTAGs. So that's a small bit of good news I guess.

some new games 'wont' work unless you add in the new region free patch, which requires dash launch 2.x which requires the use of freeboot.

This is sick, i just wish the xlink community was bigger. Hopefully this will encourage more jtag users to get online.
