Hi,
I am slightly out of touch with technology when it comes to games consoles (pc?s more my bag).
I have an XBOX 360 and I would like a little advice.
I want to be able to play back ups and would like to know the best way to get it up and running.
I was thinking about sending it off to get ?modded? and then I was looking to burn my own discs.
Can anyone suggest where to send it including the type of mod required and also what burner I should be looking at buying?
I noticed a lot of people suggesting Pioneer 111d and 112d but I can?t find any for sale online.
I appreciate any advice and if this is an inappropriate post I am sorry!

any burner which can burn dual-layer DVDs (most can) is fine, as far as I know. I have been using Sony, and it hasn't given me any problems. As for the modding, you might want to research into JTag'ing you console, or flashing the DVD with iExtreme. Im not a pro modder though, mine cam pre-modded.

Yes.
You should look at the "ultimate sticky sticky" if you haven't as it has all the info you need and if your still confused just ask.

I did to some extent....I looked into what to use for burning but I dont know the pros and cons of chip v flash....but hey thanks!
