Xbox360 won't play my copied games

Hi
I have downloaded a couple of Xbox360 games and burned them using both Clone cd and Imgburn correctly and using the layer break as instructed and the burns themselves are clean with no errors ! the problem is when i go to play them on my Xbox360 it won't recognize them.

I have used 10 Verbatim DL and not one of them will play, i put them in the xbox and let them load only to get the message PLAY DVD
I have loads of copied games with the identical discs i am using that play no problem but i just can't seem to make one of my own.
Please help me coz its driving me mad.

What firmware is your box flashed with? Are you running the games through abx360? Are you using a .dvd file to set layerbreak for you?

I'm sorry i don't know what its flashed with but its been flashed a couple of years and plays copies no problem !
I downloaded the game and it came as an Iso and dvd file i use imgburn to load the dvd file so the layerbreak is set , but as i said i've used up 10 discs and not one of them loads up on my Xbox!
I have got games off a friend that have been burn't on the same media and they play without problems.
I've tried running the iso through abx360 but it keeps saying error with db

Your firmware needs updated on your 360's dvd drive.

You could also try and burn the activate.iso if you're running 1.6. This would allow all games to boot.
