my flashed xbox got RROD

My flashed xbox 360 that had the super-easy-to-flash BenQ just all of a sudden got the rrod. So I'm debating on what I should do. Can I send it to Microsoft? Will they fix it if it's modded? Or I could buy another one and face the chance of getting a Lite-On DG-16D2S and having to buy the connectivity kit and the probe because I've never flashed a Lite-On before. Any suggestions?

it is a repair that will fix the RRoD, it is the best repair method there is.

I disagree. Send it in, but make sure all stickers are intact and the case isn't damaged in anyway. I have send in over 100 consoles that were modded and all were repaired. You could even flash back to stock to be on the safe side. This is a free method and guaranteed a repair. Reflows are hit or miss and in most cases come back. I've reflowed my crap box like 5 times LOL. Lasts a month and comes back. Reballing is the way to go to do it right or in your case maybe even get a free new console.

if he send it in he will get a liteon that is more complicated to mod back.
