The rest of the world adopts all major US sports. NFL, NBA, MLB, etc. The US doesn't adopt soccer. It's only played here because we need "athletes" for the Olympics and World Cup crap. By the way soccer in the US is mostly played by little girls, literally.
Also, the only reason soccer is so successful in your in your 3rd world countries is because your other choices are cricket, badminton, curling, croquet and polo.
And besides, if your sport allowed full impact collisions, you'd need helmets and pads too.

ddp, dude, are you serious? What exactly did I say that was offensive? PM it to me (if I'm not already banned).
w00ly made a post, and in post #2, I gave legitimate advice to his question, (like I've always done, helping HUNDEREDS of posters before) while at the same time making a crack at the sport of soccer, and that's offensive? None who replied seemed offended by my crack, they simply replied with comments of about my "ignorance" to cultures outside of the US.
In post #8, I made what could possibly look like a "snap" at jpizzle. But that was nothing. It was an inside thing. Pizzle and I are cool, very cool, and actually have done business transactions.
brooksonj used profanity, which I thought AfterDawn was supposed to be against, and that's fine? Um, OK. (not trying to throw you under the bus, brooksonj. it's posted plain as day).
I don't see the offensiveness about downing a sport (but then again, I'm not a moderator).
So I'll go ahead and edit the post, as to protect the sensitivity of the European continent, and to protect my own ass, so that with my next visit to Madrid in November, I can ensure a safe return trip home to the USA, because I got tickets to a Chicago Bears (NFL) game, and 5 Chicago Bulls (NBA) games that I would hate to miss, from being detained in a country on a continent that THINKS I dislike it (but I don't). I love (most of) Europe. Didn't like Germany, the food was horrible ( <-- not meant to be offensive).
That leaves only my 3rd world reference in post #6. So I'm taking it, that's what you're referring to, ddp.
I shall edit the post now. There is already a banhammer coming in November, so no need for one now.

No, actually I believe the US is a great country but WE are the backwards ones by comparison. We drive on the opposite side. We use imperial instead of metric. etc etc etc, the list goes on. I recognize our country's arrogance in a lot of aspects, but that's not the reason I dislike succer. Something doesn't have to be home grown for me to like it. I love hockey and F1, I just don't like succer is all.

Who knows? Probably so. It looks good, there just isn't anything in the database to compare it against.
I rip my own, so if it's not verified, I don't care, because I trust myself.
If I opt to download, I only download from ONE source only, such as my NBA 2K11. It wouldn't verify, but I didn't care, because I trust my source.
So if you trust the source, go ahead and play it. If not, then wait for someone to upload a matching XEX to the database.
