Hi,

I am a super noob so apologies in advance. I want to mod my Xbox 360 and be able to play any game i wish. I'm not bothered about online play.

I think i have a BENQ VAD6038 drive after comparing the disc tray to that on a comparison site www.llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm.

Please could somebody help me out and give me a little guidance as im scared of ruining my xbox.

I can't see the link but keep in mind that BenQ and Lite-On trays are identical, so pull the faceplate off and check the wire color in the oval hole. White = BenQ. Yellow = Lite-On.
