Although unconfirmed, BGR is reporting that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab will cost $400 with contract through one carrier, at least. The tablet will be available through Sprint starting on November 14th. Without a two-year contract, the tablet will run you $600. I think these tablets are still just a fad. If I wanted a smaller form factor than my laptop to just be on the web and do limited processing activities I would get a netbook. It would cost me less that's for sure.

...And have a butt load more functionality to boot. Tablets are cool, but when it comes right down to it a netbook does so much more.
