bottom right of page, 2.2" is 55mm, which is in-between the 2 lengths given. But I am guessing yours is a PIC version with it currently not upgradable.
Another way to check, open it up and if the chip is a long rectangular one it's a PIC version.
Sorry mate.
WEll i just checked and digitopz.com are official sellers, though the fact they have 2 versions of each 1.0 and 1.1 is weird. If its free shipping why do they got $5 more?
So I would contact them and ask them for more help, if they dont get a refund, order from somewhere else.
Having a look at the ps3break website it looks like the 1.1 dongle has a rectangular chip as well, but this one is upgradable.
Well I wasnt on my main pc last night so just now I decided to put it in a different usb port. It was detected as a generic hub as well, but then after 20 seconds it turned to at90usb162 under libusb like I mentioned earlier.
So next question is how long are you keeping the dongle in the port for?
With the ps3yes and a few others, they have handy little leds which tell you what state they are in. red for initially when you plug in or working, blue for working when in a ps3, and both on for when in upgrade mode.
So try attaching the dongle, waiting about a minute then trying to update the driver, see if it changes then.
Pull the cover off the ps3break and have a good look at the board more than likly its a FAKE and a VERY GOOD FAKE, cant be upgraded computer doesnt reconise it on window 7 64bit and windows XP will come up with not installed properly.
