Retrive liteon 93450c key with xbox as power source

I want to retrieve my liteon DVD key. I want to use Xbox360 as power source. I know it is not recommended. But I have no options.

Here are the steps I have found from other site (Provided by Dream). Please let me know if any other steps is required.

If there is any details guideline please provide that.

a) Connected DVD drive to sata port and the power from the xbox.

b) Connected probe to a 4 pin molex from computer psu.

c) Grounded my computer and xbox. (For safty)

d) Power on xbox without holding the probe on the pin. As there is trace cut, you will get flashing green single.

e) Powered up comp, load into windows and start JF.

f) The driver for JF is loads fine.

g) In MTKFlash32 tab,Check drive properties. It says no drive detected. Select my sata port (You may need to check all the sata ports, If you don't know your sata port address.). Hit device and then power down xbox.

h) Hold the probe in V cut position (Follow MRA hack to prepare the PCB to retrive the key.). Now power on the xbox. If you get bad or wrong sata use different sata in pc.

i) Hit "READ" to read key. If JF is able to read the key you will see in the bottom of the window.

j) If it is successful, JF will ask to save the key. Do it for few times to make sure you get the correct key.

You have no options on the power but an xtractor since you need a probe 2 or vampire to dump the keys

Thanks for all your comments. I shall use "Easy Probe 2" provided by Dream.

I need some comment regarding the steps I have provided to read the key using Xbox as power source.

Do I need to take any other protection except those I have provided? Or any other steps? If anybody have done this, please post some comment.

I did not find n00b guide regarding this.
