I had a modded xbox 360 got the rrod and is sitting as a paper weight.. what is the newest way to mod these xboxs so we can play back ups i looked around found the glode xbox 360 chip also i play 95% of the time online if i like a game i buy it but since the moded xbox craped out i have baught modern warfare 2,,, 3 time due to kids and dogs moving the xbox while it was on ring of death on the disc flashing the drive still the best way to go or is there other ways

no chip or flash is safe proof,if you want to fix ur xbox get it reflowed

still the best way is to flash the firmware,,and to reflow the console would make it last longer,,but if you cant find someone to reflow it on a machine,,follow w00ly,s tut on using a heatgun,,if you use a heatgun the right way youll get a good fix on the board,,before i got my reflow station,,i used a heatgun,,some fixes where good some tanked,,then there are some that i did about year and a half ago,,still going strong,,

What dashboard have you got? You still may be able to recover the drive key if your dash is 7371 or below.

What dashboard have you got? You still may be able to recover the drive key if your dash is 7371 or below.

even if the drive itself is broken,maybe the drive board is not,,probably can still read it with jungleflasher,,if it detects it,,
