Xbox 360 fans not working at all after x-clamp fix

Hi, I recently attempted to fix my friends red ringed xbox 360 with the x-clamp fix. The fix worked it seems but now when I power on the 360 the center green light sits there for a few secs before the other 4 lights begin to glow. Also, the fan will not spin what so ever. I tried replacing the fan with another from my 360 and I now know that its not the fans fault, its got something to do with the connection on the motherboard.

Does anyone know any solutions for this problem?

have u tried reflowing the xbox after the fix by letting it overheat to 2 red lights? maybe this may help?

yeah I finally did a successful reflow and the fan connection still wouldnt work so I just did a 12v fan mod and now it uses the dvd drive 12v connection and runs nice and cool. everything seems to be working great for now
