Gamer Profile on MicroDS Question

I have my profile on a microsd card as I dont have a hard drive ( second hand xbox )

I have 2 questions:

1. Is it possible to save this profile on my PC? Just that if I lose my sd card or it stops working, I have a back-up. I have put the sd card in my PC and nothing is read on it??? Like it's an empty card - but works in the xbox fine.

2. When I tried bringing this card to a friends house it had ' profile corrupted ' yet when I came back home - it worked fine on my own xbox. Any work around on this?

Are you banned from live on your xbox? That would explain why your getting corrupt profile on your friends xbox.

For the first one, use modio or usb xtaf explorer to read the data. The folder is hidden so you need to show hidden files and folders

For the second one, it could be that the software version is different on both xbox's
(Because yours is not connected to live), or the profile may be protected so it cannot be read on the other xbox(not sure about that though).
