I have a little problem with GH WoR. I downloaded the Marvel release of the game, I burned it with IMGBurn. I use Verbatim media, have 1.61 in my BenQ drive, and I have a HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW CT21N ATADVD burner (I have an Acer Aspire 7745G, if you need anything else:)).
So, I've burned GH WoR twice. It still doesn't work, when I try to install it it fails at 2% and says to clean the disc, when I start it up from disc it goes to the menus, but everytime I try to start a track it just hangs on the loading screen... it doesn't freeze, I can quit the game, it just simply "loads" forever... I really don't know what to do with it, I want to burn it again, but I don't want to waste another disc...
One other thing is that it's a problem with my notebook, that it's HDD stop for power efficiency reasons. I figured out how to solve this problem with a small tool, that's writes and empties 1 file on each HDD with 1 kb, and it solves the problem, but while I was burning the game I didn't turn it on. Can it be a problem that maybe my HDD stopped while burning the ISO, and it screwed it up twice? (IMGBurn said something like "Waiting for hard disk to become ready" at about 48-52%...)
I checked the ISO, and the two burned discs with abgx, and it said that it's okay, without any problems. One other thing is that I adjusted the pot in my 360's drive from 4,15 to about 3,25. It's reading my older games better now, but it still can't play neither of my GH WoR discs... (I tried GH WoR before and after calibrating the pot)
Sorry for the long post, but I tried to give you as many information as I can about my problem. I hope you can help me with this, and thank you
as for the xbox playing the games just update firmware to benq LT then it will play all waves of games, as your hdd said it was waiting to become ready in imgburn i would say that it is kind of restting itself, due to that power failure issue, if it works ok when ur tool is on then it shouldnt do this? just try with one more disk?
When I turn on this tool it's okay, it doesn't stop. I'm thinking about updating to LT, but all my other games are working flawlessly, like BioShock 2 and Alan Wake. Or is GH WoR uses another wave again?
well bioshock 2 is a wvae 4 game but alan wake is wave 6 and so is gh warriors of rock, so in theory it should play if alan wake does? it must be a problem with the disks or imgburn settings?
