Opera has released an alpha version of their latest browser, Opera 11 which finally adds extensions, a key selling point of both Chrome and Firefox.

Sweet! Opera is a decent browser, and I will use them alot more often if they would let me see my video podcasts streaming on Google Reader, b/c Firefox doesn't and IE doesn't, and I don't always like to download them but stream them. That's one of things besides overall speed and the latest various video formats that make a difference to me,

I used Opera for years as my primary browser - even before it went free, but the allure of all the extensions available for Firefox caused me to switch a couple years ago. I might consider going back to Opera if their extensions are up to par with the Firefox offerings.
Hmmm...once they have a final release of something that works with AdBlockPlus, they might deserve another chance. Maybe now they can make opera mini work with Flash.
