Hi everyone,

I just bought a ps3 and i wish to connect it to my computer's TFT monitor.

I already have a component to vga box, which I use for other devices, but unfortunately, when i tested it to display high resolution images, it does not give the crisp image as a directly inputted component to an LCD Tv does (i've tested both, and also took 2 photos to compare if anyone is interested)

The current VGA box I have is a chinese model called 'highbox'
It works fine generically and all but i'm a bit nitpicky and I wish to have a better image quality especially now for a ps3 :/

Unfortuntaely I can't afford an HD LCD TV at the moment to connect the ps3 via hdmi, so i must stick using components and the computer's Tft

Is there any real GOOD quality component>vga box that I could use which basically leave the image in perfect pixelation as if it was seen on the computer itself (without blurring/shadows etc)

I think you are going to end up spending as much as the cost of a monitor anyway...you can get a basic 1080P screen for $145, with free shipping and a $15 mail-in rebate...a studio quality converter box will cost you several times as much.

gee that sure is cheaper then our local shops can offer!
waaaay cheaper; i wonder if they could ship internationally...

I'm going to check into that - thanks a lot! always better to have another monitor then a vgabox :)
