74850c - bad serial data

I am getting this non stop. I have followed the steps over and over.

I have an onboard via and i connect everything up jungleflasher recognizes my probe and drive and when i probe it into the R707 hole and my thing goes green and i click dvdkey. I constantly get warning serial data is bad . . whats wrong? I also have a via pci card which i tried instead of onboard and no success. I have been using this guide ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/jungle_flasher_tutorial_for_stock_74850c_lite-on_pictures_included-785066/ ) and the team xecuter one which is pretty much the same thing.

have you tried using dosflash aswell? or maybe just booting straight into dos and trying it that way? when i did my first liteon it was the disk tray not being half open correctly that stopped me doing it, took me alot of messing about but now its easy? my new problem is the full dump as i lost my key from my hdd and am flashed to lt?

Which probe do you have? If its the probe v2 check the switch on it is set to PROBE and not MRA!!

i have not tried dosflash. and i have probe 2 and its set to probe and not mra . .

i think you need to turn the power off then back on when it starts to read are you doing that?

still dont work . . i have team xecuter probe 2 but not team xecuter ck3 . . would that be the problem? it still all connects well

use jungle flasher. Make sure the correct com port is selected and that you have the drivers for your probe installed. serial cable or usb should be plugged into your xtractor.

707 method is not the best way. You should cut the 2 traces and do a full dump of the firmware. This is to be safe on xbox live and to keep the laser calibration.
