Any help would be appreciated. My 60gb ps3 turns on then immediately shuts down. Anyone have a clue on how to fix this or even whats wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me.

looks like yellow light of death mate . google ylod or look on youtube ive just fixed mine same problem

Have you had it opened lately? Do lights turn on, change colors, turn off? Does the fan start? You really are not giving us much information here.

Yes the red light turns on, i push the button it goes to green then makes a beeping sound turns yellow for a second then turns to a blinking red. I do have it open right now. Also the fan does turn on. Thanks for the help.

If the fan does not turn, this could be the cause. Does it turn freely if you turn it by hand? Are the wires in good shape?
