Dash will be released this week to prevent everyone from playing all backups confirmed.
You will no longer be able to play backups ever again and you will be banned from xbox live. The FBI will be at your house this week to arrest and spank you.

It could be that M$ is trying different security measures on the new dash and now they know that whatever they did to Fable III works so they just might do the same thing with their Beloved COD franchise games.

If it is the result of new protection, I don't see why they wouldn't incorporate it into all new games. If they forced you to update the dashboard before you play with newer titles, it would put an end to people playing pirated games (unless a workaround could be found) apart from with JTAGs.
