I spoofed a Liteon to a Benq be the liteon went bad. Everything worked fine and it reads games the the drive with freeze up all the time or at least I think it is the drive. It was working great right before the other drive quit. Any thoughts to what it may be. Something a POT tweak may fix by any chance?

I would try cleaning the laser before I try adjusting the pot.

Well yeah, its a new drive but at the same time old. I will probably clean it and if that doesnt fix it try adjusting the POT. I didnt know maybe there was something I did wrong.

If you have to do a POT cal that means the laser is going bad. Get a new laser on ebay

The drive is brand new, like just put it in the xbox 3 days ago. It will play the games and hasnt had any open tray or anything like that but will completly freeze during play and then resume
