Well i think i messed up my xbox. My last forum before i read it, I tried to flash my xbox from an old youtube vidoe.
Everything was going great until i press the erase button on jungle flasher, it erased the bank 0 and then froze.
So now my connectivity kit wont eject my xbox anymore and when i connected my xbox back to its mother board and pressed the power button, the green light in the middle kept flashing and the mother board itself wont even eject the drive. I guess when i pressed erase and when it froze it erased everything, without putting everything on.
Also jungle flasher wont read my drive anymore.
Any solutions or am i just out of luck and need a new xbox.

really easy to do,connect the drive back to the same slot u had it,
open JF load your firmware and hacked firmware spoof,then go back to LIteOn Erase and do the same steps,should get ur drive back in vendor mode and just flash away,did u erase the via driver off your windows system 32 folder,thats why your pc froze

So it worked. Its back in vendor mode, but still when i do erase it freezes at Reading Bank 0: .
I erased/renamed the via 6421 controller card back when i first started, but its still doing the same thing.

no just erase it ,no not reinstall it,reboot ur pc and try again

Well i deleted the vsmraid/viamraid.sys file completely and then rebooted my pc. Still it freezes at Reading Bank 0: .
Sending Chip Erase to Port 0xE880
Erasing:............
Blank Test !
Reading Bank 0: .
Then it freezes, omg

Check when you have rebooted to see if vsmraid/viamraid.sys re-appear, if so uninstall the package from add remove programs.
If not, try a different SATA port. Are you using the 6421a?

The exact same thing happened to me when I first tried to flash a 360. I bought a VIA 6421 card and followed the steps exactly, but it would freeze up every time. Out of desperation I removed the VIA card and used a SATA port on my motherboard and that worked, although it may not work for you.

i found my pc would not erase in jf like you say, i had to use dosflash to erase the drive, but used jf to read? its mad but a mix of programs worked! try it.

I Also recommend dosflash if you're having trouble in windows.
"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

I third using dosflash...i've flashed many liteons with JF but had one that would freeze right after reading. Had no idea what was going on since the drivers were setup properly. Loaded up dosflash and it worked without a hitch

Weird, dosflash wouldnt work until now, after you all talk about it. But still dosflash is not recognizing my drive for me to erase it. I know what port it is in but i cant erase it because of no drive. how to do i get it to find my drive again.
Also if i have jf open first with portio64, dosflash wont work. If i have dosflash open first with portio64, jf wont open portio64. Is there anyway to open both at the same time.

Use dosflash in dos :) Use iPrep to make a bootable USB flash drive, reboot and boot off the flash drive and you won't have any driver issues

can you break the iprep thing down in a few more steps. New at using it and dont really know what im doing.
Do i need a flash drive.
Well i just read some things, and i think i do, so im going to go buy one now. I still need the steps in lower details.

just load iprep and insert a usb flash drive,select ur drive letter on the right, make sure the box that says make bootable is ticked underneath, let it format the device, then copy dosflash files from dosflash 16 folder to the root of the usb stick, and restart your pc, make it boot from the usb stick, it will come up with c:\ type dosflash and follow the instructions. :)

Jungleflasher won't recongnize my drive, i booted up the iprep and that wouldnt recongizee my drive for me to get through all the steps. the only thing that is working is putting my drive in vendor mode. I even put my drive in another sata port. still it wouldnt recognize it.
If i can get my drive to get recognize again im sure i can flash it.
Can we add pictures to this forum.
Im using windows 7 64bit

You need to go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that the flash drive is before the hard drive. If it's not, it'll just boot from the hard drive as normal into Windows or whatever OS you're using.

ok something just happened it think it flashed.
I had it in vendor mode, and it actually read, erase, and wrote the firmware without freezing. is it flashed, if so my xbox tray still wont open even if i press the open button with the ck3 or if i connect it back to my xbox.
Still my pc is not recongnizing it.

false alarm, i connected it back to my xbox motherboard and it would even play my regular games.
so im still in need of help
Or will it only play flashed games. Cuz i thought it was suppose to play both.
So i connected it back to my pc, and now it is recongnizing my drive. Do i start all over agin
