Hi,
I recently bought a minimus AVR usb 32 k and am having trouble with it when i plug it into my ps3.
I installed the hex file to it, that went good but when i plug it into my ps3 and start it up, the green light on my ps turns on normally but i get no picture. :( Unplugging the minimus and turning it on again and it works fine. Please help!

and im on the "How to install backup manager" step.

Also its say you neeed PS3 at firmware NO HIGHER THAN 3.41 and mine is 3.30 but when i put a game in it says it needs to update to 3.40 or higher so i click no.
Is this only until backup manager is installed? or do i always need firmware lower than 3.41?

Any help would be much appretiated.

some work on lower than 3.41, but you have to get the right ones. IF you dont mind upgrading to 3.41 then do so, also note that the ps move controllers work on 3.40+

So most likely the hex you are using only works for fw 3.41 if you dont want to update to 3.41 you'll have to find teh hex and manager which work with 3.30

So i tried updating to 3.41 and still the same issue. I get no picture when i start up the console with the minimus plugged in. The console actually freezes up entirely where i cant turn it off or anything unless i unplug the power.

Another thing i noticed is the red light on the minimus is supposed to turn on for a couple seconds when you boot up the playstation but on mine only the green light is on..

I dont know if this helps but if anyone could hepl that would be great.
