So I used DVD Shrink and DVD decrypter. However when I used Shrink I backed it up to my hard drive. Well now when I try to burn the dvd using decrypter I go into the hard drive and I select the ISO file, after doing that decrypter pops up a message and says oops you were supposed to select the MDS file here I will do it for you. Anyways when I tried to copy the dvd it only copied the intro then gave me an error and closed out. The disks are too expensive to keep wasting so I figured I'd come here. Also the biggest disks I could get were 4.7g the movie is larger how can I put the movie on 2 disks? Thank you very much for all your help

how about trying to play the .iso or image with vlc first and see what you get? I bet it's a disk which shrink and the other obsolete rippers aren't capable of.

I couldnt figure out how to check the entire log. What I posted is what came up. I did download vlc, and it plays the movie. But thats not the issue. I can watch the movie on my computer without the disk in. I cannot copy it from my hard drive to the disk using dvd decrypter because at 59% I get that error.

Download and run ImgBurn

Load the VIDEO_TS folder and burn the disk.
If there is a problem burning the disk, click Tools > Drive > Check for firmware updates.

If there is an update, try burning again.

If there are no updates available, get some Verbatim brand disks (that say 'Advanced AZO' on the package - don't buy their Value Line product) and try again.

I had a DVD, I used Shrink to back it up. I didnt have any blank DVDs so I couldnt backup the DVD to the ISO Image and send to DVD Decrypter option on Shrink. So I had to do it to my hard drive. I go into my C: theres the movie file I open it and theres a file there called Video_TS I open it and theres a few more files. If I open Windows Media Player, then go into the Video_TS folder and highlight all the files and click open, Windows Media Player will play the movie. Now when I check on my system I see a .ISO file, but when i try to check the properties of the ISO file or open it using any other program other than DVD Decrypter it says the file doesnt exist and the shortcut can be deleted (which is why I am assuming when I try to burn the .ISO file to a disk using DVD Decrypter it says something to the affect of, I should have chosen the .MDS file.)

Anyways I did download IMGBurn and I selected the Write Files/Folder to Disk option I selected the Video_TS folder and put it on the disk. Well now there are no files in the Video_TS folder on my hard drive, and when I put the disk into the computer it shows the Video_TS folder as being on the disk, but no files inside it *sigh*. I am using Memorex DVD+R disks (4.7g)

To be clear about this, you had a VIDEO_TS folder on the HDD that contained the required files - but now this VIDEO_TS folder is empty - so we can forget that part.

You say you have an .iso file - if so, run DVD Shrink and click 'File' > 'Open disc image'.
If it cannot open it, then you are out of luck.
If it can open it, click 'Backup' and select 'Hard Disk Folder' as the target.

Then try ImgBurn again.
