I have a Teensy++ on back-order. The new stock arrives November 22. That's OK, I'm not in a hurry.

Should I get my Teensy++ with pins, or without ? Does it matter ?

It depends it you mess around with electronics, the pins they supply are used to mount the device onto an electronic breadboard like this:

So if you are only going to use this to jailbreak your ps3 then without pins s fine. But if you decide to take up electronics as a hobby then you might want pins.

Hi bigo93,

Thanks for the advice.

So if you only want to JB, you don't need the pins.

I see what you mean about fiddling with electronics. Here's an interesting "alternative use" for the Teensy++ with the PS3 :

bigo93,

If you only want to JB, what would you recommend of these products ? I'm tempted by the new products coming to market :

> Teensy++ 2.0 (what I currently have on back-order).

> P3Go

> PS3Yes Pro

OK, so it's a stab the dark, as the latter two products are yet to be tried & tested.

But what's your gut feel ?

Thanks.

Well I;ve said this in another thread, I dont see the point of the p3go, noones developed anything that requires so much memory. Also not sure if you can put third party files onto it. I know you cant with the ps3yes, but at least they keep up with the new features teh scene makes. Alot of cloners just sell then dont care.

Supposedly, the X3Max is a really nice unit that is actually better than the teensy 2.0++, in every way except the pins. Plus, it comes in a plastic shell. The p3go seems like a very nice unit...who cares if it is overkill when it is the same price as the competition? I just have not read a non-biased review of it yet.

Thats one reason why I am not recommending it yet, would have thought someone would have put up a proper review of it and which payloads it can use etc.
