Ok im planning on getting a 360 but cant decide if i should get the 4g or 250g. What i would like to know is it possible to load hd movies on the 360 slim's hdd and view them later or i can only play movies from dvds. O one more question will the 360 slim read burnt movie dvds? thanks in advance

It will play burned movies. I'm not sure what formats the 360 can play but I know you can load videos onto the HDD and watch them from there. You can put them on the HDD using a usb stick or a portable HDD.

really i can watch movies from the hdd with no problem then i guess it is best i get the 250hhd version then. I was a little worried because most of the info that i found on the net was saying that the data was digitally tagged or something like that so it was impossible to watch movies from the hdd. But most of that info was out dated and i couldnt find any recent info that says i could do it now .
Thanks a lot for your input I hpe when i get my system I will get the most out of it

ive got a 360 slim and ffocus06 is correct, you cant copy movies onto the xbox's own hard drive though, but you can have it on a memory stick or external

wait so let me get this i cant load the movies on to the slims hdd but i can play the movies from an external hdd then i guess its best to get the 4g slim version then

yep thats pretty much the case, but you can stream it from you pc and such, but you can do that with any xbox 360
