well i just got the update after 20 trys,,fallout 3 new vegas plays great,,not downloaded,,not gone throught agbx,,no patching,,just 1 on 1 copy,burn and play,,
ON A MEMOREX DISC,,have no issues with memorex media,,

wehn i was updating it kept attempting but then would say it could not download and give me some error, did network test and it said update available but still would not download. i rebooted my router and then it worked fine.
Memorex are weird man, i burn some games and they would load fine but then give dirty disc error while playing on my benq. other console is samsung and it barely even read the games at all.
If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

i use a LG burner and i burn them at 4x,,98% of the discs work great,,i get the odd one that the burn was bad,this media is mass producted,,so there is going to be flaws,just like verbs,i use them to and get the odd bad one,,

just a heads up,,dont get to compfy,,because you updated and no one got banned doesnt mean there fingers are not on the button,there going to push it when you least expect it,and yea like it was said before,,this one is going to be massive,

well if you know your going to get banned, why go online? just stay offline for good so your hard drive doesnt get corrupted and you can still install games

lol. Not all games are fun offline. Cod for example is pretty fun while you're not banned

i guess so but id still rather have an unbanned console thts never going online again than a banned one thats never going online again. you can still use xkia link or xbconnect to play popular games like COD

no you can't. You can only do that on jtag console. The 30M ping limit on non-jtagged boxes sometimes won't even let your neighbor connect. Even if your profile gets banned you can:
Format the drive or uncorrupt your profile.
Both of which takes no more than 5 minutes.

They should pull the trigger on Christmas so everyone has games they can't play so are almost certain to buy a new 360. Might get some bad press.

I am thinking they may stray from banning consoles for modded firmware altogether. with this ap2.5 I am thinking maybe they are trying to make it so you can't play any new games unless they are legit. That way people just keep their consoles and pay for games as opposed to possibly moving to ps3 now that the price is very comparable. I'd probably switch if I got banned at this point.

thats why if i get banned,no problems,got ps3jailbreak,and alls good in the world,but then on a positive side to the new dashboard,,i like the new stuff m$ has to offer,,cant go online with the ps3 so the xbox is all i got for now,

I wouldn't be surprise if they just didn't want to spend the money on trying to catch firmware flash drives so they made a "cheaper alternative" by just attaching a security file on the executable (IE: ap2.5, ssv3) and just keep building from there. With so many impatient people they are bound to catch many with "bad rips". This is a smart money saving move from M$.

agree. Even C4E has said that it is possible for M$ to patch old games to AP2.5...

Since there's a new disc check and now a SSv3.
Will abgx360 be updated to patch them into an downloaded .iso and check for the correct security checks to make the .iso verify as authentic?
Or will we have to rely on a new 0800 firmware and make our own rips?
The last official update of that app was back in 2009 or so.

i would stick with the 0800 firmware rip,,cant go wrong,and leave the ISO intacted,dont run it throught agbx,

I would say no. You will probably just see another patch /mod update for it. But who knows.

It is strange. The database does get updated constantly and they have added the ISO for Wave 7, so he must still be there. Maybe an update, isn't that big of a deal, since the patching does stil work.

lol, i remember the last ban hammer. Man people where so pissed. last time i looked it had over 100 pages of people talking about " How are they banning us? Am i safe? Should i not play online? Is it to late? Its not the firmware they said." we where ALL wrong. No one is safe. if you get banned, to bad. If it is gonna hurt you so much go pay for games, or you can enjoy your OFFLINE console and enjoy your free games. rant rant rant all you want. if you want to know if your gonna get banned, then your answer is YES. when will you get banned? ASAP. Is there anything i can do to not get banned? Yea, dont play backups.
