HI guys, i am new to the scene and just had a question about xbox 360dvd drives.
Here is my prob, i have 3 xbox 360 consoles, 2 elites and one normal. They have been dismanteld (not by me) and i have no idea what dvd drive goes to what xbox 360, is there anyway i can find out or know ?
Very easily..... Try plugging in a dvd drive to one of the consoles. If it doesn't play games, then try #2. If that doesn't work, then it's gotta be #3. The other 2 consoles should be a no brainer. Try the next dvd rom in one of the 360's. If it doesn't play games, then it goes in the other 360. The last dvd rom of course goes in the last xbox that's left.
You shouldn't get a red ring. If the dvd drive key and the motherboard key don't match, then it will give you the error (play dvd). 2 out of 3 working dvd drives isn't bad. Good Luck.
