* 8M Bytes flash memory.
* Act as USB storage after JAILBREAK or plug into PC.
* Simply copy payload(now support Hermes and PL3 payload) to upgrade.
* Hermes v4 firmware inside while USB storage empty.
* use ESD protected and SMD crystal give more good quality.
PS3Yes usually updating the hex when psgroove et al release a new one with new features. It's a good choice if you don't have any Jailbreak .

I beg to differ.
I presume you mean the P3Go. I've let to see any reviews on this product.
And I'd need to see a few of them before I was convinced they were "genuine" reviews, rather than fake reviews created by people associated with selling the product.
PS3Yes, on the other hand, has a proven track record. Their product works. They also provide regular software updates on their website.
The PS3Yes Pro looks even better. 8Mb of flash memory is more than enough for the intended usage.

Yeah I recommend the ps3yes to ppl as well. I know killerbug prefers the teensy, but I think if you are gonna get a teensy get the 2.0++, and those are still out of stock; but then these dev boards dont come with a housing so everything is exposed.
Now sure the p3go and x3max are high spec dongles, but I dont really see the need for them right now, the ps3yes pro will have 8mb of flash which should be more than enough for now, the the p3go has 128mb, but who's gonna ever use all of that?
This article has put me off from considering a x3max
http://www.ps3-hacks.com/2010/10/30/x3-max-setup-and-review/
They have scrapped the chip number from the chip, idk but could this cause damage to the chip itself or not. But the fact they scrapped it puts me off from them
Until someone creates a use for the p3go I dont see the point of it apart from if you add an sd card in it you can use it a a memory stick. But as its price is ismilar to 1st gen dongles I can see more ppl buying it.

No idea, apparently it should work after you do the install. Do you have enough space for the install?

Hi Acromiom,
Welcome to AD !
Hopefully some of the PS3Yes owners can help you out. It appears to be a reliable product, from all accounts I've read.
A PS3Yes support issue should be discussed in a new thread. Don't be shy, please go ahead and create one.
This thread is for discussion of its successor, the PS3Yes Pro.
Cheers,
TPB.

Here's a cheap and effective housing for the Teensy++ 2.0 :
Quote: Memory Stick Pro Duo case for Teensy++ 2.0
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f68/memory-stick-pro-duo-case-teensy-2-0-a-65758/
PSGroove Teensy++ 2.0 USB Development Kit case/housing mod alternatives

BTW, I've broken my own advice. :-) I just wanted to let bigo93 know about this housing option.
I have seen a couple of wooden Teensy cases as parts of projects for other things...they look really nice, but I think they were all home made. If I were making one, it would have a monopoly card clearcoated to the top...
