I am having problems with some backup games, my old ones work fine, but recently ive been getting unreadable disc on SOME new games, especially Fable 3 , every 5 minutes i get the error on that game, And no i dont have the new Dashboard, i did it twice, i used cheap cds tho, the same ones i always used Memorex, The game was already stealth checked. At first i though it was my xbox because it makes alot of noise, but since the older games work.. I bought my xbox with Ixtreme on it , the person said that he had updated it recently, I have a BenQ.

memorex sucks!!! they will ruin a good laser and make it go bad.

Try installing to the HD but yeah memorex aren't the best. I use them and never had an issue, but it depends on your laser and burner you use. Plus the dye is hard on the laser

I am guna go buy them, but i am still not sure thats what the problem is , Maybe the lazer is freakin weak because the guy that had the xbox before me didnt rly take care of it.. But my question is really why do like older wave games work better, its weird.. And i mean if my ixtreme wasnt up to date i would just NOT be able to play the new games.. Unless wave 7 games are now out?..

fable 3 is wave 7. first one i think. check abgx verified page for a list of waves per game
