i want to update soo bad

i HAVE NOT modded my console in anyway

the only reason im asking is:

i disconnected my Xbox Sata cable from my xbox and then turned on the xbox to power up my liteon drive it is stock so i cant flash it so i put it back together

is it safe to update via live?

is it safe to update via usb drive?

i plan to hack my xbox firmware but im either going to wait for the next iXtreme that supports ap2.5 or ill get it patched now and update later

so should i update my dashboard?

BECAUSE MY XBOX WAS ON AND THE DRIVE WAS DISCONNECTED

AND WILL THE UPDATE KEEP ME FROM HACKING MY XBOX?

will you get banned? you wont know till you try it. no one can give you an direct answer on it.

no the update wont keep you from flashing the fw but you will need to wait for new fw like the rest of us if you want to play fable 3 and possibly others that will come out in the future.
