x360SED v1.0 'Stealth Eject' Chip - AP2.5 ByPass and 1Disc Multi-Consoles MP
>> SoulHeaven of consoles.librasoft.fr announced the x360SED v1.0. This chip between the DVD drive and Xbox360 motherboard requires 1 wire and has 1 solderpoint on the Xbox360 motherboard. It will allow you to bypass the new AP2.5 protection in new games (like Fable3) with the new Fall2010 (12611) dashboard and it'll allow you to play multi-player games on several consoles using just 1 disc of the game.
The chip is compatible with both the original ('fat') and S(lim) Xbox360 (note x-s: and we assume all DVD models?).

cheaper and easier to wait for c4 and lt+ could not be bothered swapping disks to play a game.just my 2 cents :)

Was just about to post this, and I agree with widowmaka. We can only hope for a coded version of this method sans chip.

It shows that there's already good ideas being implemented, so I think this chip is a really good thing...and it shows that the coders in the scene are ahead of the curve.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). I had posted this same exact topic a few hours earlier but I guess I used the invisible typeset. :-)

Anyways, C4E has commented on this newly discovered AP2.5 dodging technique.
