Would installing a Samsung drive totally defeat ap2.5?

Would replacing our current drives with Samsungs totally circumvent the ap 2.5 that's coming? Sure we all know you will get banned for spoofing, but would that solve someone's problem who wants to run the latest dash and is already affected by AP 2.5 and doesn't want to wait a month for a fw upgrade??

yes i does defeat the ap2.5 test,and so do the hitachis from i have been reading,,but i think c4eva said if you switch drives,M$ will know that you did,,

i think it would defeat it and let you load an ap2.5 game yes. However if an ap2.5 has been loaded and caused corruption and then you swapped a samsung i dont know if the corruption would be present still or if it would not occur again. may not matter either way but just something to think about.

but yea like coorva said, c4 pointed out spoofing is not safe anymore

Thanks for the replies, so yeah you will get banned due to the spoof, but your games would work.
