Viewsonic has unveiled their new 3DV5 pocket-camcorder this week, giving consumers a chance to record film in 3D without the need for glasses. The device has a 2.4 inch autosterescopic screen, similar to the one used in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS handheld. This sounds pretty cool, having the ability to create your own 3D videos. Might just make more use of 3D televisions in the household.

You will eventually...even if it is just a TV that happens to have glasses support; I think it will be rather unavoidable in the near future.

Presumably, as it is a 'special' screen built in to the camcorder, playback on a normal 3-D TV WILL require glasses?
