Slim 3 new lasers still won't read blurays!

i am looking for any advice before i scrap this to ebay, this slim stopped reading blurays and i have tried 3 brand new lasers in it and it still will not read them. it will read dvd's cd's and will even recognize when i put a ps2 game in says format not supported. Any other advice on what i can try would be appreciated.

What firmware? If it is 3.41 or lower, you don't need a BD drive.

it sounds like it tries to spin, and then it makes a cycling noise and then the clock stops spinning.

yeah i put 3 new lasers in at first of course i thought maybe its just a bad laser, but after 3 replacements i have to come to the conclusion that it is not that. when i first got it, i put in modern warfare 2 and it recognized it and then froze up, thats when i purchased the first laser, since no luck with the other 2 as well.

Maybe a bad board. Best bet is to sell for parts.
