Using headphones with PS3????

So what I want to do is be able to watch movies, play games and whatever else (listen to music?) on my PS3 but I want to know is there a way to output the sound from my PS3 to a set of wireless (possibly bluetooth?) headphones? I beleive it would be nice as when i watch scary movies or play horror games my wife HATES to hear them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Well the ps3 supports bluetooth, so if you have a set of headphones that uses it then you just have to pair them.
Or you can use a usb headset with an extention lead if you need to be some distance away.

Also, they make little Bluetooth clips that you can hook headphones ( or any 3.5mm jack ) into, like this:

So has one of the Sony updates allowed us to now use the bluetooth headphones to listen to music, audio from videos or play games and here the sounds through the headphones? I know the older firmware versions did not have this.

I know that I can set my USB headset to have the audio from the game itself in addition to the chat...and I know that they make stereo USB headsets that work the same...they even make usb headsets with 5.1 (multiple cones per ear).

Bluetooth is fine for a cell phone, but I prefer wired USB on something like this...no interference, no batteries, and better sound quality.
