I was reading up on the new dash, security checks, and AP25 and my mind started to wonder about something.

I have a few consoles like so many of us do and 2 outta 3 are modded with LT 1.1. My roommate has one that was banned last year in the 2009 wave and this got me wondering.

If I have a modded console dedicated to offline play with an offline HDD and an offline profile that is NOT banned/flagged and I make a boo boo, such as playing a game that is the most unsafe, dirty, STD of a game ever, and xVal 2.0 reports to me that me that my SecData has been compromised, can I not revert back to a clean SecData PRIOR to going on XBL. Almost as if I never committed the infraction that caused the SecData to show that it's bad and not 'clean' (I dont know what it says if its not clean; just assuming).

People have been reverting their NAND dumps to uncripple the HDD but I have only found instances where they were already hit with the hammer and they wanted the functionality back. I have no reason to believe M$ knows when and how many times I play a game offline. Maybe except if an achievement has a time-stamp on it which would be a dead giveaway if the achievement was recorded to the profile at a specific time and the NAND data says something older).

So would it actually work to 'clean up' my SecData by reviewing/changeing my SecData back to a previous time if for whatever reason I decide to go online? How would they know if I changed the values in the NAND?

jtag is required to flash nand if im not misttaken. and jtag is detectable by itself.

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

jtag WIRING is not needed to flash the nand; jtag WIRING is only needed to run the jtag. you can read any nand if you solder the wires (all except the jtag wires; since they do you no good if your efuses are blown). i'm not sure if i can post links to the xbox forum; but there is a post to uncripple your hdd.

the procedure is the same;
1) update your dashboard to a clean and unflagged dashboard.
2) then make severals nand backups.
3) then play as many unsafe games etc. etc. as you like. the console will flag itself, but since you do not play online the MS server cannot be flagged in any way. it is important to keep offline!
4) when a new dash update arrives; flash back the clean nand backup (step 2) and then update with the new dashboard (be sure to also make a backup of the flagged dash!!!)
5) then step 2 starts again.

updating will blow efuses and make old nand backups useless. so after each update you have to make a new backup. if you update your flagged console by accident before flashing your clean nand back; you are stuck with a flagged updated dashboard. you cannot flash an old dashboard back over a newer dashboard; most probably the burned efuses will not allow that leaving you with a not booting console (hence why you should also make a backup of your flagged dashboard before flashing a clean dashboard. if some goes wrong; you can always put bay a working - albeit flagged - dashboard.

if you leave in the wiring to read and flash the nand; this all is doable. reading a nand is about 15 minutes, same as writing (over lpt at least). so it will take an hour of 2 each dash update. to me it is too much of a hassle; but once it is set up..
