Report: Leaving notebooks on your lap may reduce sperm quality

According to a new study published in Fertility and Sterility, using a notebook on your lap for extended periods of time can lead to reduced sperm quality, and there is really nothing we can do about it.

This really isn't something new, I've been hearing about this for a while now, besides I rarely meet anyone who actually puts a laptop on their lap.

Is it actually dangerous or is it just making you infertile? I could care less about not being able to have a kid. I'd still put a laptop on my lap if it wasn't dangerous. I have no interest in having a baby, not that anyone cares at all.
Also, according to older Apple commercials, the laptop on the lap is the most popular way to use their laptops. Just kidding guys. Chill out :)
Also, since when is overheating balls causing infertility actually a discovery? Hot baths anyone? Once that was discovered doesn't that make this kind of finding a little silly?

Decreased fertility and toasted-skin syndrome are two good reasons not to use your lap as a table for your laptop.

Perhaps they should put a warning on hotubs and jacuzzi's too :P Maybe that's why we males are instinctive in not taking baths. lol

This is basically just common sense. Don't roast your chestnuts. Same reason why chefs/cooks have the same issue.
