How do I make a break in DVD+R discs

Hello everyone, Ive asked this question in another forum but not getting
an answer. So maybe someone in hear can help.
I have several one hour shows in AVI that I am trying to put on my dual
layer dvd's. Im using DVDFlick to do this. DVDFlick is letting me put
about two episodes on one disk but when it tries to burn it, DVDFlick
says "Not showing a layer break and cant burn"

So my question is how do I get a "break"?.....OR...Do I need to use a
normal dvdw to put my shows on??...Thank you for your time
