hi, my old ocnsole doesnt work anymore, burnt out i think, i have got the 4gb 360S is this console modable yet? and what chip do i need ?

I believe it is. You should wait for the new LT+ firmware to come out though.

No, you can't mod it..... Yet. The firmware for the drives in the new "S" model is currently being worked on. Once it is available, it will be posted all over these forums. No ETA.

As BillB said it's in development/testing. And it should be available reletively soon. I'm guessing no more than a couple months, seeing as to how quickly iXtreme LT+ was readied.

I thought it was hackable using different lite-on firmware, but the recommendation is that we wait for specific firmware for that drive. Im no 100% on this though
