Although the company has denied it exists, pictures of the upcoming Samsung Nexus S Android smartphone have surfaced, leaving very little to the imagination.
Furthermore, Best Buy's Website has let it slip that a "Pure Google" Nexus S will be available "this holiday season."
The site also says the device will sell for T-Mobile.

I'm sorry, I don't know if anyone has seen the side and back view of this, but this is one ugly ass phone. There are some rumours (again) though that the 1.2Ghz was the first version, and that Samsung scraped it to install a dual core CPU (since many dual core cpu phones are coming early next year), and the delay was because Google had to redo Gingerbread to optimize it for dual cores. So hopefully this isn't the final version. The Nexus One is still a nice looking phone, better looking than this one. So I hope Samsung offers some new design too, instead of just beefing up a Galaxy S, and slapping on the Nexus logo on it.
I think Google just go with who is making the best stuff for the time.
To be honest the Galaxy S blows away the desire, though they have the desire HD out now, which is pretty much a galaxy S type mobile made by HTC.
My problem with the HTC phones is the build quality it's fairly good but I think they use cheap options rather than use good stuff.
The speaker on the Desire sounds like crap compared to the Galaxy S and I wouldn't be surprised if it won't work properly after 6 months like what happened to me HTC windows mobile.

Hmm sounds about right actually. I'm guessing it's just a brand Google owns isn't it??
You know the Desire is one of the best phones I've owned/seen (IRL), but the speaker is my real gripe with it. Loudspeaker when calling someone is poor and muffled, even with the phone screen down, speaker up. And music sucks.. my N95 kicked its ass in terms of that. The speaker sounds like crap - period.
However, HTC Sense is really nice, and I think the HD kicks G.S.' ass in term of specs, but dunno about sound quality. That is important, it being a phone after all.
