I am having some trouble to get this drive into vendor mode. I am doing the MRA hack and have everything hooked up right, I have tried using the multimeter to check even but the only thing i get on jungle flasher is 0x52. or 0xd2... Cant get it into vendor mode for nothing. I am using a sata controller and have done plenty of others but this is giving me a problem. Can anyone help?

if you are reading any current across the cuts then that would be the reason.

I went back and double checked the cuts and there is no current. idk what the deal is but now im not even getting the drive coming up in jungle flasher. I even tried to power on the drive with it half opened. but nothing, idk what else to try.

are you using a probe or switch? i have had problems with some of these drives in the past, maybe if we go back to the start we can figure it out.

I am using a switch. I have tried different stuff, 22ohm and 20ohm resistors and its got on my nearves. I put it all back together and now i just get the blinking light. It starts up and goes to the dash and then that is about it. I know thats something with the traces and I belive its the one nearest the power cord but i have tried reduing the soder over the trace and still just get the blinking light. No eject or nothing. I was also using the 360 to power the drive.

did you manage to get the key before that? to assure that you are reconnecting good i would recommend jumping the traces with a piece of wire.
