Hey all, i recently bought an xbox and decided to flash it.

Its a 2006 model and it has a liteon drive.

I flashed a console before with had a hitachi drive with no problems

I have search all over the place but it seems that it is impossible to flash the liteon without a connectivity kit witch i dont want to buy as this was just for tinkering purposes.

I got my windows to see the drive but it wont flash.

Since i can make money on this xbox im gonna sell it and buy another one,

my question is, do most of the xbox's and elites have liteons in them now or is it just luck witch one you get?
